Apostille and notary.
What is an apostille?
An apostille is a certification that authenticates the origin of a public document so it can be used in another country that is a member of the Hague Apostille Convention.
How long does an apostille take?
Missouri and Kansas documents can be apostilled the same day ($180 Missouri, $250 Kansas) when they reach us by the cutoff: 10 AM for Kansas, 1 PM for Missouri. Standard processing takes 7 to 14 business days ($90 Missouri, $110 Kansas). Texas expedited service takes 2 to 3 business days; expedited service for other states is quoted on request.
Do you offer same-day apostille services?
Yes, for Missouri and Kansas documents only. Kansas documents must be received by 10 AM and Missouri documents by 1 PM. If your document arrives before the same-day cutoff and we don’t complete it that day, we refund the expedited fee.
What is the difference between an apostille and legalization?
An apostille is one certificate accepted by Hague Convention member countries. Countries outside the convention require embassy legalization: U.S. Department of State certification followed by the destination embassy, and often a final Ministry of Foreign Affairs step.
Can I notarize documents online?
Yes. We offer remote online notarization (RON) through our Missouri-based secure digital platform.
Do you provide FBI apostille services?
Yes. We can take your fingerprints, obtain your FBI Identity History Summary and have it apostilled by the U.S. Department of State. For non-Hague countries we handle FBI background check legalization.
Do you offer mobile notary services?
Yes. Our mobile notaries meet clients at homes, offices and public locations across the Kansas City area, with daytime, evening and weekend availability.
Do I need a notary for an apostille?
Only for documents such as powers of attorney or affidavits. Certified vital records like birth and marriage certificates are submitted as originals and do not need a notary.
Can I get an apostille for a document in Spanish?
Yes, as long as it is notarized in English. We also assist with translated documents for many countries.
What if my document is for a non-Hague country?
We offer embassy legalization for countries outside the Hague Apostille Convention, including U.S. Department of State certification and consular legalization.

What are the same-day cutoff times?
Kansas same-day: documents received by 10 AM. Missouri same-day: documents received by 1 PM. Same-day service is only offered for Missouri and Kansas documents.
What if you miss the same-day deadline?

What if the destination changes its requirements?
Requirements are set by the destination country and can change. We are not responsible if a foreign office or embassy changes its requirements or rejects a document for reasons outside our control.
